Cherie Chan

Cherie Chan is a Sydney-based emerging dance artist, choreographer, and graphic designer from Hong Kong. She holds a Bachelor of Dance from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts and a Bachelor of Design from the University of New South Wales. Her practice integrates movement, visual design, and multimedia elements, exploring emotion, social norms, and human experience,  She has worked with Sydney-based and international choreographers including Francesca Gozdek, Todd Sutherland, Angela Hamilton, Liz Lea, Ronny Nardo and Daniel Navarro Lorenzo. In 2025, she choreographed Tunnel 08, a 13-minute work for ten dancers, presented at NIDA, and performed at Luna Park’s 90th Anniversary. Currently in development of a new work – The Art of Freedom choreographed by Elliot Bourke at Kalirena Pointe, performing at Carriageworks.
