Daniel (Dani) Ross

Daniel Ross is an emerging contemporary dance artist based in Eora/Sydney. They found their passion for dance in rural New South Wales during their teenage years, sparking a lifelong dedication. After relocating to Perth in 2019 to study at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), Daniel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance in 2022.

They joined Dance Makers Collective’s Emerging Artist Programme, Future Makers, performing in ‘Big Dance 2.0’ (2023) and ‘Echoes’ (2024). Daniel finds pleasure in the exploring themes of escapism and expressionism rooted in fantastical narratives, which shape their artistic journey.
