Elka Holden-Price

Elka is a contemporary dance artist from Bigijal and Dharug Country, bringing curiosity and care to her practice. She is a graduate of the Academy of Music and Performing Arts, where she majored in contemporary dance with a minor in ballet, and had the opportunity to work with both national and international choreographers. During her studies, she choreographed a 12-minute work for her graduate project, earning a High Distinction. Now in her second year with Future Makers, Elka continues to grow as a collaborative artist. 

Fun fact: Elka has a talent for never wearing matching socks—something she considers a small but satisfying achievement.
