Elka Holden-Price is a contemporary-based independent artist based in Sydney, Australia. Recently, she completed her full-time training at AMPA, graduating with a Bachelor of Dance Performance, specialising in contemporary dance. During her studies, Elka had the opportunity to train with and perform works by choreographers including Daniel Navarro Lorenzo, Ronit Ziv, Idan Cohen, Todd Sutherland, Marnie Palomeras, and Viktoria Rosek.
Elka Holden-Price choreographed a 12-minute contemporary dance work as part of her final-year assessment at AMPA, for which she received a High Distinction. Elka showcased her ability to craft emotionally resonant and physically intricate choreography, blending dynamic movement vocabulary with thoughtful spatial design and thematic depth. This work reflected her growing choreographic voice and commitment to exploring human experience through movement.
