Evie Morwood

My name is Evie Morwood and I am an inspired emerging artist currently based in Sydney. 

I was a full time ballet dancer/student for 5 years, then went on to do two years and graduate out of Sydney Dance Companys’ Pre-Professional Program. I’ve choreographed several pieces along the way, including one dance film; filmed, directed and edited by me. I hold both my Diploma and Advanced Diploma Of Professional Dance Elite Performance and I am now freelancing and a founding member of The Catchment Dance Collective. I am deeply interested in instant choreography through improvisation, coded storytelling in art and extending the body and my anatomy to its limits. What I bring to a professional space is a new perspective, my whole and true self and most importantly my body, my movement. I am always up for a challenge.
