Hannah Mansfield is an emerging artist from New Zealand. Hannah moved to Sydney in 2023 to complete an Advanced Diploma in Contemporary Dance at Brent Street, graduating in 2024. Hannah is now studying a Certificate III in Music (Creation and Composition) at TAFE NSW.
Throughout Hannah’s time studying at Brent Street she was able to learn and perform works by the likes of Stephanie Lake – Pile of Bones (reworked by Samantha Hines), Holly Doyle – Hi and Charmane Yap – Choronoception. Hannah was also involved in Stephanie Lake’s Soliloquy for Sydney Festival 2024 and Tegan Jeffery-Rushtons’ Overture for Form Dance Projects, IDEA Now Festival 2024.
Hannah has also created works such as Shifted which was performed at Sharp Short Dance Festival in 2023, winning the Most Innovative Choreography award. And forevermore which was performed as a part of two performances throughout 2024 for Hannah’s graduating season. Hannah is now studying at TAFE NSW to join the creation of dance and music together and would like to continue to explore that as a part of her dance practice.
