Kate Clerkin

Kate Clerkin is an emerging creative artist and dancer passionate about improvisation, storytelling and the connection between dance and our human experience. Kate graduated from Ev & Bow Full Time Dance Training Centre, attaining a Certificate IV & Diploma of Dance under the direction of Sarah Boulter and Lisa Bowmer in 2024. She is originally from Sawtell (Gumbaynggirr Country) and is now based in Sydney (Dharawal Land). Her interest in nature and her curiosity about mind, body, and soul connection align with her artistic voice of authenticity, conversation, theatricality and play.

Kate is inspired by many creatives who continue to ignite her passion for movement and art. The vessel of improvisation exploration allows her to continue to reconnect with the art of movement and community, sustaining her love and passion for the craft. Kate is an emerging, versatile movement artist inspired to create and continue to refine her artistry.
