Kate Clerkin is a dancer and creative artist driven by improvisation, storytelling, and the
relationship between movement and human experience. Originally from the small coastal
village of Sawtell, NSW (Gumbaynggirr Country), she is now based in Sydney (Dharawal
Land). Her connection to nature, curiosity about the mind–body–soul relationship, and
interest in emotional and physical resonance inform her authentic, playful, expressive, and
distinctive artistic voice.
Kate is a graduate of Ev&Bow under the direction of Sarah Boulter and Lisa Bowmer, where
she attained a Certificate IV and Diploma of Dance. Her recent credits include: Counterfeit
(Dancer, Alisdair Macindoe, Dance Makers Collective 2025); Aura Mechanica (Dancer,
Twisted Element Co. 2026); Move FM (Dancer & Choreographer, Dance Makers Collective
2025); BOND (Soloist/Dancer, Analise Cunnington, HUMXN 2026); Vibrations of the Blue
(Dancer, Ko Yamada 2025); Overture (Ensemble, Tegan Jeffrey-Rushton, Adelaide Fringe

(Dancer, Heart Farm / Samantha Ross, Jetty Memorial Theatre 2025); and SITEWORKS
