Meg Connolly

Originally from Boorloo (Perth), Meg is an emerging artist with a strong foundation in classical ballet and contemporary dance. After completing her BA (Conversion) at WAAPA in 2023, she moved to Sydney to further explore contemporary dance and choreography. In 2024, she participated in Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Program, where she collaborated with a range of artists and creatives, performing repertoire by Rafael Bonachela and Merce Cunningham, and premiering Cycles, a new work by Cass Mortimer Eipper. That same year, she created an original work for the Sydney Fringe Festival titled Claws, performed by an ensemble of six dancers. Joining Future Makers in 2025 she performed in Move FM at the Sydney Fringe Festival and in Counterfeit by Alisdaire Macindoe. Coming back for her second year, Meg is enthusiastic about continuing to develop as an artist and explore her interests in film, theatre, and using dance as a medium for artistic articulation and expression.

Fun Fact: One of Meg’s childhood pets was a python called Stevie who is now 13 years old
