Nicole Su is an emerging dance artist with a strong foundation in ballet, contemporary, jazz, and
hip hop. A recent graduate of the Bachelor of Dance program at AMPA, she has developed
technical versatility, performance strength, and a deep understanding of movement as both a
physical and expressive practice.
Her training has fostered a particular interest in contemporary dance, where she explores
dynamics, texture, and emotional connection through movement. During her studies, Nicole has
worked collaboratively with peers and various choreographers, contributing to both performance
outcomes and creative processes. She has worked with artists including Daniel Navarro
Lorenzo, Ronit Ziv, Idan Cohen, Liz Lea, Todd Sutherland, Angela Hamilton, and Francesca
Gozdek.
Nicole has also created a 12-minute choreographic work ‘Danse Macabre’, which was presented
as part of AMPA’s production ‘Synergy’ and received many positive responses. The work reflects
her interest in concept-driven performance and the creative side of dance.
As an emerging artist, she is focused on expanding her professional experience and refining
their artistic voice. She is passionate about engaging with diverse creative projects that
challenge their physicality and support ongoing growth within the evolving landscape of dance.
Fun Fact – Nicole is currently studying graphic design as a side quest!
