Sarah Goroch

Sarah is an independent contemporary dance artist based in Sydney Australia. Graduating in 2018, with a Bachelor of Dance Performance. Since then Sarah has been a company member of Dance Makers Collective youth company ‘Future Makers’ 2019 based in Western Sydney. In 2021, she joined ‘We Are Here’ company under the Artistic Direction of Emma Saunders. 

Sarah’s recent dance performance credits include: ‘In Situ’ Zachary Lopez through DMC Future Makers as part of Sydney Festival 2021. ‘Todesspirale’ Liam Berg 2021 commissioned by AMPA. ‘The Rivoli’ Dance Makers Collective for Sydney Festival 2020, ‘Correspondence’ 2020 Kaldor Public Arts project- Art Gallery of NSW in collaboration with Future Makers and Nadia Odlum, ‘Joy box’ Mara Glass 2020 ‘Project Y’ Ydance youth company in Scotland (online) 2020. ‘Whose time are you on?’ Nicola Ford 2019, Short + Sweet dancer directed by Cecile Payet and  Evie Morris. Choreographed and performed a duet ‘Primation’ in Sharp Short Dance 2018. I debuted my first independent work ‘Artistic Connection’ in 2018 and my second ‘What are you saying?’ in 2019. 

Sarah has been involved in numerous choreographic processes, some artists include: FORM Dance Project Zoom residency 2021, Rebecca Jensen ‘Dolphin Caller’ 2021- Critical Path, Twisted Element ‘Awakening’ 2021, Renata Commisso – Dirtyfeet 2019, Emily Flannery- Dirtyfeet 2019, Alleyne Dance (UK)- ‘Mobilise’ intensive and performance curtain raiser for ‘A Nights Game’ 2019 and Sydney Experimental Art/Arc- ‘UNSW’s art week launch party’ 2019.
