Vincent Garcia

Vincent Garcia is a performer, choreographer, dance filmmaker, and teacher based in Sydney, Australia. In 2024, he graduated and achieved an Advance Diploma in Professional Dance from Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year Program.

Now he is a member of ‘The Catchment Dance Collective’ and freelances as an independent artist. While he predominately works with contemporary dance, Vincent also practices street-style dance forms such as Waacking. Using dance as a medium, Vincent explores, experiments and challenges how we see dance as an art form, and how we can shift the narrative of what Contemporary Art can be.
