Erika Barnier

Erika Barnier is an Australian movement artist in Sydney. After completing her diploma at Ev &
Bow in 2025, Erika’s current practice blends an appreciation for investigating shape and
structure, with an interest in physicalising internal rhythm through the influence of various
genres. This is combined with a love for collaboration and playful creation, driving her current
explorations. Mentorship, training and collaboration under names including Sarah Boulter, Dean
Elliot, Lucy Doherty, Holly Doyle and Martin Del Amo have contributed to her expansive
movement vocabulary. Erika’s recent credits include ongoing developments with Shaun Parker
Company and performances with Otherworld Co and Twisted Element’s ‘Aura Mechanica’.
