Jacinta (Jaz) Mullen

Jacinta is an emerging artist currently dancing on Dharug Country and Gayamaygal Country. She has a diverse range of skills spanning ecology, fibre arts and massage that she brings to her dance practice. Jacinta built her contemporary dance training and experience through attending workshops, performance projects and regular classes from a diverse cohort of teachers who have influenced her current movement practice to be filled with curiosity, excitement and a joy of dance. She has also spent time developing her own improvisation practice which is deeply inspired by the imagery and relationships that exist within the natural world.

Jacinta is ever-evolving as a creative and is excited to be a member of Future Makers where she can expand her personal movement story and collaborate with peers. Jacinta understands dance to be an integral part of life and is passionate about bringing this joy of dance to as many people as possible.
