Jannah has studied 2 years full-time training at Newcastle Ballet Theatre, and 2 years full-time in Sydney Dance Company’s Pre Professional Year, completing an Advanced Diploma of Professional Dance. Her notable performance experiences include Stephanie Lake’s ‘Colossus’ New Annual Festival, Carla Zampatti Powerhouse Museum work by Omer Backley-Astrachan, 50th Anniversary Opera House Film with Lucy Guerin, Melanie Lane’s ‘Ivy’ Carriageworks, and her graduating season for PPY: ‘Synthetic Seduction’ Jenni Large, ‘Anima’ excerpt Rafael Bonachela, ‘Pretend that You Live Here’ Gabriel Nankivell, and ‘Desencuentro’ LeeAnne Litton and Alejandro Rolandi.
Jannah is known for her fluid, abstract, powerful movement quality and her determined engagement in the creative scene. Her choreographic works have included a range of solo performances where she has been awarded numerous prizes at Sharp Short Dance Festival, Catapult Choreographic Hub Initiative and Ballet Workshops Australia.
