Sarah Rose Francis

Originally from Regional Western Australia, Sarah is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in contemporary movement, visual arts, and metaphysical awareness. Graduating from WAAPA in 2019 with a BA in Dance, creatively Sarah deeply considers the audience experience, truth and union of music and movement at the heart of every creation.  

With a gift of synaesthesia, Sarah is able to see, hear and feel, where others can be limited to receive through one sense. This has led to her experimenting with presence and embodiment to build and performs works that hold space for expansion of imagination and evokes deeper connection.  

Sarah’s most recent engagement was Australian Dance Party’s project ‘DATASET’, June 2024. Earlier in 2024, Sarah curated and performed ‘Igniting Potential’ with Alex Winner through KISS club, hosted by Propel Youth Arts and PVI collective, and worked with Perth Festival through the Connect Lab. In 2023 Sarah developed skills in project facilitation with BREC’s South West Artist Retreat.
