Ashleigh (Ash) Veitch

Ashleigh Veitch is an emerging independent dance maker and artist from Sydney, New South Wales. She is a recent 2020 graduate from The Victorian College of the Arts. Throughout her time studying she worked with Alice Lee Holland, Prue Lang, Anouk Van Dijk and Antony Hamilton. Other credits include choreographing for RAW Independent Artists Exhibition (2018), performing in Simone Forti’s Huddle at the National Gallery of Victoria, MoMA Exhibition (2018) and engaged in Dequincy Co’s Impro-Exchange 2021 workshop/performance.  Ashleigh’s interests are in finding new-found perspectives between the audience and the performer through structured improvisation and site-specific work.
