Robert Love AM

Robert is a creative leader with a range of skills and experience within the arts, cultural & education sectors. Robert was the Director of Riverside Theatres for more than 20 years, and has a demonstrated history of working in the performing arts as a venue manager, producer and presenter creating solutions through collaboration, innovation and creativity.

In 2017, Robert was made a Member (AM) in the General Division of the Order of Australia for “significant service to the performing arts, particularly in Western Sydney, as an administrator, and as a supporter of independent artists.”

Since founding his own theatre company ‘Toe Truck Theatre’ in 1976, Robert has enjoyed an illustrious career in the performing arts world, working at the University of Sydney’s Seymour Centre, State Theatre Company of South Australia, Sydney Theatre Company, Fox Studios and News Limited before commencing as Riverside Theatres Director in 2000.

Robert is passionate about the ways in which creativity can influence peoples lives through performance.
